~Many Thanks~

Thank you all so very much for the loving care you gave to Alan during his three year stay at Crawshaw Hall. Your Professionalism under sometimes difficult circumstances has been excellent, and has always been carried out with willingness, politeness and invariably with a smile, always being aware of the many complex needs of each individual person in your care.

Tribute

Rossendale Free Press - Friday 6 June 2003

John Murdoch presents poem to Harry Karoo, watched by Eileen Karoo and staff members Adrian Andrew and John Buluck.

A tribute to Harry and Eileen

At Crawshawbooth town you will find The best nursing home that's around Crawshaw Hall is the name And caring's their game As you'll find should you ever go round

The owners are name of Karoo That's Harry and Eileen to you You will get the best care from this Lovely pair There's no doubt of that I tell you

Many years now good friends we have been And many a change we have seen But they still both go on and much kindness Is Shown To those we seek to rest in their home

When my mother was resident there Never once did we have any care She was looked after well For quite a long spell Till the good Lord did take her away

Now our dear daughter Heather lives there And once more we don't have any care It was always our quest to get her the best And you get all of that staying there

So a toast to this lovely pair To meet such nice folks can be rare May the good Lord bless you For all that you do Can't thank you enough to be fair.

From Joan Mottershead mother of Kenneth Hartley

Letter reads:-

9th November 2007

Dear Eileen, Harry, Adrian & Staff,

Please may my family Ronnie and myself thank you for caring for Kenneth over the last two years. The two years he was at Crawshaw Hall were by far the happiest he had spent whilst in care homes over the years.

Your help, kindness, patience, care and understanding to Kenneth and ourselves has been second to none so please accept our sincere thanks once again.

If ever we can recommend Crawshaw Hall to anyone you can be sure we will. Also please thank residents for helping him settle and be happy.

Thanking you all once again.

Regards

Joan Mottershead
