More than £10'000 has been spent on renovating the gardens at Crawshaw Hall. The plan included over 500 new plants, planting of 9 beds, 40 tons of limestone chippings and over 500 man hours of labour. Residents, their families and staff have been very supportive of the project and the end result speaks for itself. The scheme was carried out by Groundwork Pennine Contracts with continued input from Marc Karoo - Operations Manager at Crawshaw Hall. Alan Green, contracts manager for Groundwork, said 'It has been a privilege to work at Crawshaw Hall - it's given us the opportunity to show our horticultural expertise. I was really pleased when I was asked to do this because there are not many homes like this in the area.'
