Located in Crawshawbooth, Lancashire, the Nursing Home is a magnificent 18th century mansion standing in over 5 acres of landscaped gardens set at the edge of 27 acres of forest land overlooking Limy Water, and was erected in 1830 by John Brooks (quarry owner).
Crawshaw Hall Nursing Home opened in 1987 providing specialised care to elderly mentally infirm people (50 years and over) suffering from a wide range of psychological illnesses.
Crawshaw Hall Medical Centre opened in spring 1995, designed to provide nursing and residential care to young adults over the age 18 years who may have medical and / or physical disabilities.
Accommodation is in single and companion rooms, spaciously decorated and furnished. All rooms have nurse call, intercom, and television upon request. All floors are serviced by a lift. There are spacious lounges and dining rooms in both homes.
Providing superior care to people suffering from psychological orders such as Alzheimer's, depressive illness, multi infarct dementia, Parkinsonism and Huntingtonism along with a wide range of psychological illnesses.
Our facilities are safe and incorporate many home comforts, to reinforce residents' familiarity with their surroundings.
The Medical Centre has similar features and opened in spring 1995, purpose designed for adults requiring specialised nursing care due to medical or physical disabilities.
In addition to the in-house facilities, residents receive 24hr care by nurses, our own G.P. Support, and regular visits from a wide pool of professionals.
