Located in Crawshawbooth, Lancashire, the Nursing Home is a magnificent 18th century mansion standing in over 5 acres of landscaped gardens set at the edge of 27 acres of forest land overlooking Limy Water, and was erected in 1830 by John Brooks (quarry owner).
Crawshaw Hall Nursing Home opened in 1987 providing specialised care to elderly mentally infirm people (50 years and over) suffering from a wide range of psychological illnesses.
Crawshaw Hall Medical Centre opened in spring 1995, designed to provide nursing and residential care to young adults over the age 18 years who may have medical and / or physical disabilities.

Accomodation is in single and companion rooms, spaciously decorated and furnished. All rooms have nurse call, intercom, and television upon request. All floors are serviced by a lift. There are spacious lounges and dining rooms in both homes.
